DAYA

DAYA is a beautiful, classic racer/cruiser yacht from the Italian shipyard GRAND SOLEIL. She was built in 1986 and has been undergoing a loving refit for 3 years. She belongs to the yachts that were built high-quality for eternity. The hull is slender and the stern is very narrow. The whole concept is performance-oriented. She is almost identical to the Swan from that era. The two models are almost indistinguishable.

Das Cockpit bietet entspannt Platz für 4 Personen. Alle Leinen sind für ein einfaches Handling in das Cockpit gelegt. Wenn man sich dort aufhält, kann man die Freude der Yacht an Geschwindigkeit und Gleiten durchs Wasser spüren. Der Innenraum ist typisch für Cantiere del Pardo aufwändig desinged und umgesetzt. Bei neuen Booten ist die Wertigkeit der Konstruktion leider kaum mehr zu finden. Mit DAYA möchten wir die Freude, die eine klassische Segelyacht ausstrahlt, erhalten und teilen.

On DAYA we test equipment to make sailing environmentally friendly. We want to avoid plastic, release no harmful substances into the sea and make boats durable. What we do on DAYA:

• Fresh water is usually kept clean with a heavy metal additive. Instead, we have installed a special UV-C lamp that keeps the tank free of bacteria.
• On the underwater hull, highly toxic antifouling is used to prevent growth and deposits. We will provide a solution without releasing particles into the water.
• To generate clean energy, we rely on the sun. The installed PV panels and the inverter supply the yacht predominantly with renewable energy.
• DAYA's teak deck is worn out, and replacing the deck covering is due. Tropical woods are not an option for us. The deck will be renewed with a recyclable, attractive covering.
• For all products such as bed linen, towels, bathroom care products, and cleaning agents, we ensure they are produced fairly and ecologically.
