Our Hanse 575 GALINI has spent its first summer season in Greece on Poros. Our charter base has started operations, and we were able to welcome our first guests. Maira (Base Manager) ensured happy faces and Yiannis (Technical Manager) took care of the yacht's well-being and installed some upgrades. Our buddies have asked what GALINI does in winter… She spends the winter season in the Caribbean. This week Andy and Mauricio completed the crossing through the Mediterranean from Greece via Sicily, Sardinia, Mallorca, Ibiza, the southern coast of Spain, Gibraltar, along the African coast to the Canary Islands. At the weekend, Eric starts the Atlantic crossing with a motivated crew – Las Palmas, Gran Canaria to Fort-en-France, Martinique. Here our base in the Caribbean will also be. From here we start tours south to the Grenadines and the backdrops of “Pirates of the Caribbean” and north-east to the British Virgin Islands. Mid-March we head back via the Azores to Gibraltar. And how is it going in the Caribbean?
We are gathering our first experiences 🙂 Do we have a plan? No, but lots of ideas! And we invite everyone to take part! We have a wonderful, fast, comfortable yacht, a whole winter season, and with Andy, Mauricio, Eric and Christian, great skippers. From Christmas onwards, GALINI is available and can be booked as a whole boat with skipper or just individual cabins. Are you a skipper or an agency and need a yacht? From June, GALINI will be back on Poros in Greece. After a short stay in the yard, from mid-June she will be available again as bareboat in the Saronic Gulf and the Aegean.
